DESCRIPTION
Near the old Wakefield Mill, Gatineau... a small red cottage sits near the rivers edge. Still waters reflect the radiant fall colors of maple, sumac and grasses.

While I was getting out my gear, another small car parked behind me. Lots of walkers use this trailhead spot - but instead of walking poles she took out an easel. Small world - inspiring locations - plein air painters everywhere. I am sure there are hundreds of paintings of this little cottage out there.
