DESCRIPTION
I love a road trip. I hate highways and busy motorways. I want to slow down, pull off and enjoy the sights. On my journey from Baie St Paul down the north shore of the mighty St Lawrence, I searched for views, safe pullouts, side roads and trails with a view. To no avail. In frustration (of huge trucks riding my bumper) I pulled off on a side road to pause and let them pass. Voila.

A river, parking, gentle trails and the most spectacular golden fall trees and bright river. A joyous discovery. The best of plein air. The freedom to explore and linger at will.
