Painted plein air in Robert's Creek Provincial Park.
A Big Leaf Maple shines with bright new leaves on the path down to the open shore. While waiting for the receding tide to reveal the offshore stone and the sun to warm an open space - I took advantage of the time to catch the backlit tree and colorful cottage shrubs.
