DESCRIPTION: Pale golden light surrounds the harbor and fjord of Howe Sound. The wildfires raging to the south created a haze for hundreds of miles. Our sunrise was orange and the daylight a weird transluscent gold. This OIL was painted on location - while balancing on the narrow float at Gibsons Landing wharf (slightly seas sick ;-)
