Thought I would share with you our new lighting here at 558 Woodland. Courtesy of BOCCI – Designer Omer Arbel. Manufactured and distributed from their office and showroom in Vancouver. (the old Mitchell press building near Granville Island)
Although very contemporary in styling – it fits in nicely with our 100 year old leaded glass windows,(salvaged from a Shaughnessey home 22 years ago) cherry trim, and views of the islands and mountains of Howe Sound.
The table is made by Roberts Creek wood maestro – Edmund Butler…from the 2nd growth, huge Big Leaf Maple that I had to cut down for the clearing of the building lot before construction. So the windows and the tree have a new life in our home.
