12-2013-09-14 13.28.26My set up : 9×12 Guerilla Box, small Masterson wet pallette , large tripod and my Best Brella – not raining – but the fog was falling on the fresh acrylic painted panel

Great hazy fog – but my favorite bit was the little dingy swaying on the surface and tugging on its rope. The challenge at this busy dock is – the boats keep arriving & leaving!

My usual underpainted Burnt Sienna ground color – makes everthing pop out from the grey atmosphere.

The colors were SO intense in the bright, overcast fog – everthing seems so luminous and saturated.
