a quick sketch from the beach at Buttle Lake – while I dried off from a welcome swim.
JULY 22. 10: am
The waterfall was fabulous despite the lack of rainfall, and the sandy bar was so nice to pull the canoe up on with a great view of the falls. mostly rocks and rugged shoreline – with the remnants of tree trunks and roots as a result of the dam flooding. with the low water levels we were the only boat to be seen for the 4 hours we paddled. SOOOOO quiet. what a treat.
